The Client
Heart of Justice is an American social justice company, structured as a for-profit social enterprise. Their purpose is to provide and teach mitigation for criminal cases. (Mitigation is the evidence for attorneys to use during the pleas or punishment phase of a case, exposing the real why behind the crime.) They do this by marketing directly to criminal defense attorneys, mainly in the southern states of Texas, Louisiana, and the other Gulf Coast states.
Project Challenge
After Sidian agency developed the Heart of Justice website, it became important to complete the branding exercise of developing complementary content for multiple social media platforms. That included developing the Heart of Justice Facebook group, Youtube channel, and LinkedIn page.
Ideally, content created on each social media platform would drive new traffic back to the Heart of Justice website. This requires securing the same name path for each social account and developing unique artwork for each social account creating a consistent brand across all platforms.
Social media is an inherently visual medium, and it’s important to guide the client into the correct mindset and best practices to create evergreen and relevant social posts.

- Reviewed best practices for social enterprises as they market through social media platforms
- Developing color and typography scheme for posts
- Researched adding a Media page within Heartofjustice.org
